What amazes me as I continue to read about this case is that the voice of reason never seems to come from Briggs supporters. My first reaction was to become a member of Kelsey's Purpose but I just keep shaking my head as I continued to read the forum. They never discuss evidence but keep saying "Kelsey's dead and her mother is a bad person." Not a single person came forward during her trial to testify to anything stated in the above comments.

I do have one more thing to say. In Raye Dawn (grudging) defense, I do agree that the punishment of her lack of protection for Kelsey was a bit extreme.
However, I still stand that she is in the right place.
They can't say Raye Dawn did not know Kelsey was being abused. That is absurd. Kelsey was removed from RD's home because of allegations of abuse. RD was court ordered that Kelsey NOT be around MP. She did not obey those court orders. RD was going to court hearings because of "allegations of abuse". DHS confirmed abuse against RD. In her OSBI interview RD LIED to the OSBI several times in the beginning saying that MP wasn't around Kelsey, but in the end she admitted to them he was. Can anyone say Felony Perjury Charges???????

(but she didn't see those bruises nor know how they got there, right?) Someone saw her dragging Kelsey up a set of stairs to the apartment after seeing her hit her. I think the subpeona was issued because a site was started on the DA. A trash the DA site. I do believe that a subpeona can be issued by a DA without the "party" being notified. maybe someone with more legal knowledge could answer that, but from what I've found out, that can happen.
