Twice in a bit more than a month? Life isn't fair.
BTW, I once had to take a dog to the emergency clinic in Columbia at 2 AM. The vet on duty was great and Missy is alive and well today after being poisoned with anti-freeze.
It's been very difficult. Bogey and Oscar are together again, and that's what they'd want. But we miss them both so much.
I'm glad Missy's okay. The people at the emergency vet clinic and Internal Medicine Clinic are all terrific. They do a great job with the animals and with the animals' distraught owners.
Oh, I am so sorry for you. I can barely see to write this. I wish I could give you a hug or something.

I'm so sorry! Damn. Your Oscar seems so much like ours too, breaks my heart. Ours wasn't very trusting either and he's come along way, color wise, they're direct opposites, your's so cute with the white and black, ours with the black and white. Damn. Sucks so much to lose a friend, I'm so sorry.
Again, I'm really sorry. They were both lucky dogs to have you and your husband as owners.

Thanks, you guys. I have to believe they're together and happy, hanging out side by side under the trees in heaven like they used to do in our yard. Or maybe doing what they enjoyed so much in their youth and what we couldn't let them do -- run the neighborhood together, chasing squirrels and rabbits and exploring.
