Gosh, I wasn't even thinking of the animals! I wonder if Iraqis keep pets? The dust over there is lethal, now, thanks to all the spent uranium in the shells. (I just hope that this administration gets justice served up to it- and soon!)
Sgt Mango is so cute, keeping an eye on the time for ya.

Your cats play the same game I play. I am constantly trying to grab a second or two for myself...:>)

It is sad that the innocents always have to pay along with the war-mongers. If war could be limited to those who wage it, I'd say-- go for it, boys, and we'll let the scavengers clean up the mess.
That pic of Mango and the clock is grand.

Heh, Mango looks good. Hope the rest of the crew is good too. Happy Friday, OWL! Scratches for the kitties.

The Sergeant looks wonderful! I always love your pictures, honey. Have your kitties begun to get energized by Spring yet? Ours have. They run 'round the house like demons. I do so love kitty cats!

sbgypsy - Well, they had zoos, I think they have pets, too. I often wondered about those cute little sandcats, though. And the other wild creatures. Surely, there were quite a few, as well as birds. Yes, Sgt Mango is one hell of time cat
thepoetryman - Yeah, time gets away from us, sometimes. I know what you mean about trying to grab a second or two. I usually sleep through the extra ones.
mbg - According to the article, the other kitties in the house seem to make allowances for his blindness, and he's grown up into a happy cat. Thanks. That's how Mango would be, at a mouse hole, too, I'm sure.
The CultureGhost - Thank you. I'm afraid he's bilemic, though. He likes to chew plants then puke. I also think he might not do well with the treats, so I limit his to very few. He'd prefer getting several, then puking...and, he seems to realize it's spring, as he's shedding a bit.
robin andrea - Yes it is. As you say, if war were limited to those who enjoy, they can have it... as it is, though... Thank you. He thinks it's grand that he got his picture in, again, so soon
Fixer - THank you. They are pretty good. Happy Friday back. I notice Cotton has a scratch on his nose. Did you do that? HEh Naw, I know you didn't. When I asked him, he refused to say, so I'm betting he was fighting with Lady Fortuna because he knows he's supposed to leave her alone.
The Fat Lady Sings - Thank you. I don't know as they were unenergized, always racing around like they're greyhounds. They hit my shins and feet, then act all mad at me, that I kicked them, or something! I love them too!
mbg - I've heard of those alias things. Many people think oldwhitelady is an alias. They don't realize what a crazy sense of humor my mother has.
jams o donnell - But of course. Cats are very intelligent. I've noticed mine working on getting that thumb to flex properly. Heh. We just think they sleep all the time. Not so, they are busy plotting.

It looks like he's trying to make it go backwards by will, or just to catch it.
It looks like a good cat toy, I may buy one to amuse the crew when I need to work.
Most of the world has a totally different view of pets. In much of the world dogs and cats are regarded as vermin.

I go with mbg (missouri blue girl) on political blogs instead of my name because some commenters get so nasty about my liberal views and I just decided it would make it less personal by not using my name.

Bryan - Well, he was taking a breather, there. He was waiting for the hand to come back around. They certainly were amused for a bit. It might work for the crew, but your work might be more fun. I remember my cats loved to help when I was trying to study. They'd lay on the books and papers to give encouragement As far as different views of pets, I think it has more to do with people. Many here in the states view them as vermin. Here is an article about a bombing of an Iraqi pet market.
The Ghazel pet market is a popular destination on Fridays. People gather to sell and buy monkeys, cats, dogs and other animals.
vickie - I understand. mbg works nicely. You know what it means, they may not

Heh. My guys like chasing the second hand too. I had a box on top of my chest of drawers where the cats could get on top and get to the clock that's up there, and they got up there and were watching that second hand intently...
Recently the Mighty Fang has taken to playing with my college diploma with his paws. It is hanging up above my computer desk, above the scanner (which is on the shelf above my computer desk), and he gets up there and rocks it back and forth. One of these days he's gonna knock it off its nail. Oh well, it's not as if the thing is anything but wallpaper nowdays, people don't even look at the "education" section of my resume' anymore, they look at the list of products that I've brought from conception to customers...

BadTux - It sounds as though you have some spoiled kitties. The Mighty Fang has even taken over your diploma. How funny. I can just see them sitting there, watching the second hand. How cute!
