I have a zip program, or I did. Recently changed 'puters & OS. Thing is, .jpgs are already compressed, so zipping doesn't do much. The photos are quite large straight out of the camera -I was surprised, 2-4megs, 1,000-5,000 pixels each dimension.
Let me know the max size you need, and whether you're going to print them out or just display them on your screen. If you need biggest ones, I can put them on a CD or DVD. You have CD & DVD drives?

I was thinking I could probably display them on the screen to work from. It wouldn't be blossom for blossom, but to get a general idea and follow that with whatever brush skills I can manage.
Yes, I do have both CD and DVD drive.

I put up some more of those boat pictures you love so much. (Yeah, right!) I also reduced the size of all of them to 800x600 or less, so they're all just a few hundred k's now.
What size/ resolution is your monitor? I'll send them wallpaper-sized; you can always reduce them. They won't print out real well, since my camera has been taking pictures at 72dpi, barely adequate for the Web. Should be at least 300 to 1200 dpi for a decent print-out. I'll have to read the camera manual, I guess.
Anyway, let me know about your screen, so I can start emailing the larger files. That info is accessible through your screen saver settings, or monitor settings in the Control Panel. Email me if you can't find it. Should be one or two megs each. Can your email handle that?

cosanostradamus - My monitor resolution is 1024 x 768. That's what you wanted to know, right? The screen is no larger than 17inch.
My email should be able to handle that. Send one and I can see.
That slide show doesn't seem to like me. I can slide to a couple of the pictures, but not all of them Those colorful boats really look neat!
