I cannot believe the *method* of communication. Good grief, mentally capabale kids forget their freaking homework ... and they are going to send home a note regarding a MAJOR change in his backpack???? ::shakes head::

We are starting in August this year...and going year round, I'm pretty sure.

I will be surprised if you get a good response from the school system. In Fulton, if the IEP can be met at the new school, the kids go... unless they are upcoming 8th graders and then they get to stay.

However, they should have notified you via US Mail, not a letter in the backpack.
