I'm going to go with Scooby Doo. He had some rehab trouble getting off of the Scooby Snacks, but since then he has really pulled himself back together. I think he is running for office in California's dog house of representitives. He's got my vote.
Eric is obsessed with Coleman. I think he may argue that he's not an EX-celebrity, but a current celebrity.

My vote goes to William Shatner. There is no better self caricature on the face of the planet. He has extended his 15 minutes way beyond all measure.
I was going to say Shirley Temple. But now that Tom brought up our friend I "Will" have to agree.
Yes. Shatner is one of my favs too. I especially like his beatnic side. 
The boy from that movie "Toy", the one where he buys Richard Pryor from a toystore as a plaything.
Yeah, Shatner's great. I'm thinking Mr. T is somewhere in the running too. He's a cultural icon.
