I think it's decent though it certainly "hides" the lag a bit better than (COD4/5)... i.e. no killcam to compare your version of what happened vs. the network's...
The weopons certainly take getting used to, and you'd got to do a bit less "running and gunning" as it COD4/5 - though I see a lot of ppl do that on KZ2
I got a good deal on R2 on eBay so that's coming too, though I got it mostly for the SP but am going to give MP a go (which I didn't care for much with R1)
like Killzone 2, Resistance 2 single mode is great. that is the only reason I kept the game

Killzone 2 multiplayer is one of the most rewarding and deep online games ive played in a while. It requires alot of thought baiting and team tactics than most shooters.
As far as im concerned killzone 2 online is one of the greatest fps online games, im sure with the coming dlc it will become even more apparent the only gripe i have is them removing cover and no vehicles but this game is killzone not cod, its not a run and gun theres nothing realistic about jumping 200 feet in the air and running every where and shooting like a madman. Sure killzone does have regen health but its take on realism is unsurpassed by any game, the reload animations the way your gun recoils the grenade physics are second to none in any game. Everything you do has real weight i really get sucked into the game more than any game so far whenever i play radec academy or corinth crossing i get goosebumps when i run through corridors trying to deliver the propaganda speaker or defending an assasination target i enjoy running with my squad flanking and pwning while tactictians summon air support and medics have your back.
I agree the multi sucks balls. People who say it takes skill unlike COD are liars even though COD is equaly shit. The only skill is fighting with the controls and even then everyone just rocket camps, sprays or uses the annoying saboteur class. The level design is boring and it all gets old after a week. What an overhyped piece of shit. I shouldn't have bought into it, stupid sony fanboys.
