Gravatar NICE BLOG

Gravatar GOOD BLOG

Gravatar He does tend to cut people off but I have noticed it is when the people do not answer his questions and start going off on something else not related. It does bother me too but I realize he only has a few minutes of air time for his guests and an agenda to get through.

His expose's are pretty good, and although we have been blogging on the far-left's shenanigans for some time, O'Reilly is giving them more air time and exposure than we ever could. He has been doing that for a long time too.

It has been a while since I watched his show but I listen to his radio show every day. I can't find the hiking reference but I'll keep trying. I'm sure his point falls along the lines of "People are free to do what they want but when they deiberately put themselves in danger to climb a dangerous mountain why should manhours be used up for the search and rescue efforts?"

Am I close?

Gravatar I hate linking a "News Hounds" article but it's the clearest one I could find regarding the Mount Hood acident and his attempts to ban Mountain Climbing.

But here it is: http://www.newshounds.us/2006/ 12...er_climbing.php

Gravatar Now you be nice to Mr. Bill..hahaha!

Gravatar You are correct about Bill O regarding his style. It has become so over-the-top as to be almost a caricature of serious interviewing. He's become a joke, a paranoid joke.

Gravatar Boy, it's like I'm reading my own writing!

Bill's ego has gotten the better of the fight with common sense.

But to defend Bill a little bit, trickish knave said: "He does tend to cut people off but I have noticed it is when the people do not answer his questions and start going off on something else not related."

That's what The No-Spin Zone is all about: when people start spinning, he cuts them off. I don't mind that so much as what the writer identified and the times he cuts off people who are answering his questions, or are making cogent remarks, but they don't fit Bill's idea of what is right.
