Is that Mr. Spillane singing on HW Beaverman? It doesn't sound like his Gerbils vocalwork at all.

You know, you're right, it isn't Scott...just listened to it. It's different from the version on the album (which DOES feature Scott singing). I can't tell you who is singing...
The others are pretty close to the final versions, if not quite finished (I believe).

The final version is Scott, but using a surprising, low voice that doesn't sound like his Gerbils voice. It took me a little while to get used to it. Actually, the final version is kind of a nice blend between the 2.

Thanks Ian. It wasn't until the second listen that I realized it was Scott singing. But then, it was only on the second listen, when I was paying more attention, that I realized that the "cast" in the credits is actually all the different vocalists (I am slooooow).

Ha! It's true! Thanks, Missy! Missy of French Toasts/ Sugar Cookie / Tummybug / Starting Small / 40 other things and Fairmount Fair, too, if you want!
Jeff, did you write this? I'm quite pleased. Having been a fan of Jimmy's songs since high school, I'm excited to see other people excited about them. Are you in the path of our quickly-approaching tour? Madison is it? I hope so. I've always wanted to go there. Yeah! The Teacups! Or are they from Racine?
Anyway... my point is -- it seems like The Father and The Vet were removed from our server (by Jimmy, probably not realizing)... I'll mention it to him, but anybody who wants can go to the web page or myspace page to hear stuff. Just in case!
