You must be suffering! You uploaded the Globe grid for the PI.

especially enjoyed THEOREALLYFACTOR, but confess i struggled somewhat with this witty ross offering.

will's "spiral," on the other hand, was a far smoother solve -- and a wonder in its own right. shamelessy admit that the construction of this puzzle style (like the "flower" format we see on some sundays) never ceases to inspire my awe!

For what it's worth... I didn't get 'The New Season' sub-puzzle either, but it wasn't too hard to figure out the 'ensemble' puzzle with only five of the six answers.

I'm with you on that Matt. I was unable to solve the "New Season" puzzle but was able to get the final answer. Then I worked backwards to solve the New Season after. It was all due to the fact that I could not identify one of the pictures on the shirts! Looks so easy now that I know what the word is. Oh well, still had a blast solving them.

So frustrating trying to finish "The New Season". I also ended up working backwards, and then trying to think of a word that would mean glove and yet fit the given clues. Shameful that puzzles are not better proofread.
I wonder what word jmbrow29 found that made the clues come out right? I tried slice for bread and sauce instead of gravy; but no joy.

Yeah, that extra dot on the glove picture gave me an answer of "thyle," which isn't a word.

Hey Margaret. The word I had trouble with too was gravy. I had no idea what they wanted. I thought of gravy boat but was like "that's a tad bit longer than 5 letters." I also considered genie (as in a genie's lamp) but knew I was grasping at straws.
