I know you haven't posted on the CS puzzle yet, but one of the clues in CS is simply factually wrong. I rarely say this, but this time, I'm certain. The clue is "Wrath, in a hymn" - the answer means "of wrath." It's a Latin genitive. "Wrath" and "of wrath" might be close enough for some, but in Latin they are fundamentally different words - spelled differently, even. |

typing, filing, calling, billing -- how nice to have had this past week off and to have been excused from this comibination of tasks for a spell! |

After Saturday I could not bring myself to do a puzzle for two days so I did the Sunday this morning. |

Orange, I had no trouble with the Monday NYT, but my time was 3x yours. How do you make the pen(cil) move that fast? Do I need to buy your book? |
|
Jim: Yes. Yes, you need to buy my book. Of course! :-) Or you could be content with being a very good crossword solver and pay no mind to time differentials. The book should help hone your solving skills, though—I've heard from a number of people who have improved their skills by reading the book. (Sure would be nice to see a testimonial to that effect in the Amazon customer reviews...) |

Yes, that's my favorite review, Jim! (The reviewer used to know how to give 5 stars to books she/he liked...) |
