This is MY free speech zone- it ain't yours!

Gravatar As someone that has chosen for my children to escape the mediocrity of the state education system, this woman makes my blood boil.

When enrolling her son 4 1/2 years ago, she has falsely signed an application saying that she will pay the school's donation (along with other fees).

This hypocritical woman has only ever paid donations for two terms, but has made full use of the facilities and privileges that the donations paid by others provide.

Morally she should pay up or withdraw the boy and enroll him in a school with fees she can afford.

But that just it - she has no morals and believes that other hard working parents at the school owes her a son a privileged education.

Gravatar Part of the problem is that Rathkeale integrated into the state system a few years back, so it's not totally private. If it was, they could chuck out the non-payers. Rathkeale College is now paying the price for supping with the devil (i.e. accepting taxpayer funding). Seemed like a good idea at the time...

Gravatar Well if it's 'voluntary' then it should be just that. Perhaps they should make the services 'voluntary' then. But it's really up to the school, if it's really private that is.
