And yes we love our guns. [I'm planing on posting all of mine soon. As soon as I remember to bring my camera and cords home from work.]

Though some states view gun ownership in very different lights. Like in Illinois, the state I use to live in, if you own a gun you have to have a F.O.I.D.(Firearms Owner Identification) card and don't even think about trying to carry a handgun in IL, even legally, you can't. As opposed to Florida where you only need your drivers license to by a gun and which is a "shall issue" state. That means unless you're restricted under Sec. 790 of the FL code the state must issue you a license to carry a gun if you apply for it.

I don't understand states that think by banning law abiding people from carrying a gun criminals, that by definition don't follow the law, will somehow not carry guns and commit crimes with guns.

Hypothetically speaking of course, if you were a criminal that had to choose between a state where it's citizens can't carry guns, therefor will not have a comparable means to fight back if you rob them, or a state that lets it's citizens carry guns, therefor would likely pull out their gun and possible kill you, what state would you pick to cause havoc in?

Hey, we should trade pics of our guns. I'm in Maine, so of course I have te standard issue Mossberg 12 gauge and the 30.30 lever. My H&K 9mm is my baby, though.

I'll be posting a pic of my Glock tonight.

I plan on going to the range after work and popping off a few rounds. There's a competition shoot this Sat. at the gun club I'm a member of, and I need to get in some practice. This will be my 1st comp. shoot, so it should be an experience.

Yeah a buddy of mine I told me they do the "hostage silhouette" targets so I need to get my aim down so I don't hit the wrong target............oops.
