Right on the Money!
Now it should be clear to EVERYONE:
The Democrats are the Silent Partners of the Neocons and Corporations.
Democracy is over - the transition is complete. the 2008 elections are irrelevant.
The Fascist takeover of the US that Prescot attempted is now a reality.

I agree with Bob...it is mildly humerous and, more important still, only amuses the already existing choir. Not much point here except for the cartoonist entertaining himself.

Lil' Georgie says:On your knees dems and blow me!And they obey the great and powerful Oz without a wimper, gratefully swallowing the massive load Bush ejaculates. This capitulation to the dictator makes me sick. What is it going to take for these supposed representatives of the people to stand up for us and our rights? This makes them as bad if not worse then him because they make legal for him what our constitution says is illegal. This proves you are both cut from the same cloth. Fuckin' two-faced pussys. I may throw my vote away but I will vote for the Green or Socialist party candidate for president for this traitorous act by these democrats.

The sad thing is that the Democrats have had many times to flex their collective muscles and have caved in frequently. This does not help them to look good and ready for the next election. At this rate, they'll only attract voters by the Republicans continual inward collapse.

RIGHT ON! It should be patently obvious by now that the DEMOCRATS are frauds - merely bush agenda enablers - and as such they are WORSE than him.
WE HAVE ONE PARTY IN THE U.S.: THE CORRUPTION PARTY.
As another poster stated, it's all over but the crying. WHY? Because the collective citenry doesn't have a clue about the above and doesn't protest all the KNOWN corruption.
THEY ARE READY TO ROLL OVER as long as you don't take away their IPODS...
Make it that much easier for the conquerers to finish the business of trashing the Constitution and raping whatever gets in their way.

Appalling: Not the cartoon - it's just calling a wimp a wimp. They're so afraid of what they look like instead of just being what they are. Well, they look like what they are. They're afraid of looking like they have no spine, so they show us they have none. This is appalling! Makes me sick. Where do we turn?

I feel like i am living in the Twilight Zone. I can't believe there are so many people so willing to throw away the most wonderful country ever to exist anywhere. Why are people voting against their own best interests, like lemmings to the sea? What is wrong with us that this is happening?

As usual, the people posting here, make the same mistake. We make the mistake of lumping all individuals that happen to belong to a group, however they vote, however these individuals differ in their votes, together. The most important thing we can do, is distinguish those dems that voted with Bush, out of fear of one kind or another, from those dems that refused to succumb to his dictatorial and phony-terrorism demands. We naively think that because a political party is "more" inclined to vote in accord with our values, that it will "always" vote in accord with our values. I'm a democrat, not because the party is always on my side, but simply and only because a substantially greater number of democrats vote in accord with my values, than do republicans.

Regardless of the Democrats woosiness - the cartoon accurately depicts the true feelings of The Repugnican Party and George Bushite.
They are going for the jugular, and what we need is a back at them attitude on the part of progressives: THE GLOVES COME OFF!!!

Yep, the "Dems" aren't a-feared, they're
willingly, eagerly, slyly complicit. No
shock there: they take their orders from
the same corpo-fascists as the Chump in
Charge; they share the same militarist
agenda and "vision" for a "New
AmeriKKKan Century", they do NOTHING in
a now-desperate attempt to convince us
that no true alternative is "practical"
or "realistic" or "incremental" or
whatever euphemism for defeatism they'd
like to get us to give up and settle
for. They're not defeated; they think
we are. Take a look at the other
posts here and GET OVER THIS HOKEY
"DESPERATION" crap. How many of us
do there need to be before we can
finally recognize ourselves and each
other as the "general citizenry" that
supposedly doesn't get it? We get it.
CorpoPublikrat or CorpopubliKrat -
it's the same one-party fraud conduct-
ing a slow-motion military coup. But
we can stop them. We just have to be
ready to do what's necessary: burn
something they love. Nothing else
gets, or holds, their attention.
Try this simple test: open your
wallet or purse, take out a $10 bill,
strike a match or lighter, and burn
it. Feel that clawing, searing pain
in your psyche? Screw G. Gordon
Liddy, THAT pain is the purported
fear leaving the body. If you can't
pass this simple gut check, you're
*useless* for the coming confrontation. Freedom of speech is
BAIT, people; blow all your energy on
blogs and posts and you'll be too
satisfied to take the necessary next
step. Lemme guess: you're gonna
accuse me of hypocrisy because you
see my post here. It's what you
*don't* see that tells the real story;
you'll see *that* when I see YOU out
here with the rest of us "citizenry".

cheney,buSHIT,and their cheesy little gang of crooks have purposely mis-lead the Senate, the Congress and all of the American citizens for proffiteering on the business of war. They have broken every law in the book along the way. They have destroyed the constitution and mocked the law. Sean Penn summed it up best saying on Bill Maher's show, asserting that buShit, cheney, rice, scumsfeld etc. should all be in fuckin' jail !

A majority of dems voted against Bush's spy bill. The republicans voted in lockstep, which is why it only took a minority of dems, for a YES vote to prevail. The dems didn't betray us, the way all these republicans posing as dems, and coming here to tell you to vote 3rd party or Green, are telling us. The minority of dems that voted with Bush, did so out of fear and ambition, worrying that the dems would be blamed for being soft on terrorism. Don't let the republicans make fools out of us dems. The vote was a bad one, but not the catastrophe our enemies, pretending to be our friends, are making it out to be. Polls show that a majority of Americans have been persuaded that republicans are better at protecting us from terrorists. It's all bullshit, but people believe it. We dems will survive it.
