I have no maternal wisdom, but Bug certainly is a cutie.
Having various WIPs just gives you some ready options when you want to spend time with hobbies. I obviously need more coffee....what I'm trying to say is do what you want to do, it is all cool.
And yes, I do come here for the Bug fix.
i get guilt over my fun hobbies, but i try so hard to let it go. so i made myself a bracelet that literally says "let it go". i'm hoping that will help me out with that and a few other things i hold on to. :D
I get all excited about the stingrays too. And just about everything else on Planet Earth. Does that mean I haven't grown up?
Oh honey, you have a long way to go and then those years fly. They can get camera shy at 3, to the point of making professional photographers cry. And don't rip anything, you'll get to when you can.
