Bug is so cute, want me to take him off your hands? I can't throw worth a damn though.
I think pushing the DH is probably not out of line. To do more, that is. Not over say, a cliff.

That's not a little boy, that's 3 feet of compressed energy masquerading as a little boy. He looks so happy.
I can't imagine how tough it is for you and DH right now, but I hope you know that you have lots of friends out here sending good vibes your way and wishing you all the best.

"Anyway, we are trying to go about with our lives as we can"---and that is THE best thing that you can do! (And you ARE doing it very!)
Handspun stranded mittens- made during the hot weather- will most certainly be the best mittens (come winter).

Hugggggggggs. I'm so shitty at this, and my heart goes out to you, since it sounds like you're just like me. Yay for tired children (and dogs, in my case, heh). XOXO

It's got to be frustrating and I can tell you feel like things are stalled. I'm crossing my fingers that you start seeing real improvements in your husband's health.

Hang in there, sweetie. Start with one minute at a time, then work your way up to one hour at a time.
Make more pretty yarn.
Throw the ball for Bug.
Find the joy in small moments.

I think that yarn should cheer you up. And then we'll make more. And that will make us happy, too.
THAT'S what the in-the-moment thing is about.
xo.

I'm sorry how things are going for you guys. But I do hope that the doctor's right about the future feeling/doing better. Eat more chocolate.
Fun boy photo!
Lovely, lovely yarn.

He gets better or I'm coming over there to kick his ass. (No, not really but might get him moving. Maybe?)
Love the Bug and the spinning.
Hang in there, honey.

Thanks for the update. I'm sorry things aren't going so well with the DH. I do hope he does make more progress, and soon.
That's an awesome picture of the Bug, I love his shouting. You spin some gorgeous yarn, woman.

OK. I know I'm gonna sound like Suzy Sunshine, but DH will get better. He's pretty weak and it's just going to take a long time for him to get stronger. You all have a right to be depressed. Your yarn is gorgeous. HANG ON!!!!!!!!!

This is totally sucky having to keep hanging on and waiting to see if/when it gets better isn't it? I don't know how you're hanging in there with such a good attitude (maybe you are just awesome at faking it).
Those mittens are going to be flippin' sweet. Can't wait to see them.
