Gravatar Just thought I would point out that in my neck of the woods (and it is still woods, Gord not having succeeded in burning them all for "green" power, yet) lotsa folks listen to CBC One. Of course we have a more limited selection of stations cuz of the mountains and stuff.

As to the Cluff Master (or as I referred to him many months back at the House Cluff the Not So Magic Drag - or something like that) - when our local morning folks out of Kelowna take holidays or go to a workshop and we have to listen to the Cluff for a day or a week - I don't listen to CBC much in the morning.

BTW, in my neck of the woods we don't send BC liaRs to Victoria or Reformatories to Ottawa, either - I guess that's why the torch won't be coming anywhere near us in the lead up to the circus.

Gravatar Steve Quinn is always worth listening to. I used to love those mornings when he would fill in for cluffy and ask all the hard questions to poor unsuspecting politicians expecting puffy cluffy softball questions.

I have to give credit where it is due - this morning, Cluffy asked Furlong an unprecidented SECOND time (and he even commented that he didn't get an answer the first time he asked) "How many gold medal men's hockey tickets are available?" when he wasn't given a straight answer the first time. The best he got out of Furlong that second time was something like maybe in the hundreds"
