That happened to me as well in my first apartment. New owner's wanted to move grandmother in... though it was a 3 story walk-up batchelor apartment in a house near Yonge and St. Clair. Couldnt imagine an elderly person negotiating the narrow stairs all day. You do have the advantage of moving in the early summer my get out date was in February if I remember correctly. And in some heavy snow. Like last weekend. Good luck hunting.
I missed something! Who is "us"? I've somehow been thinking it was the boy while noting that it's not the boy. Perhaps you can answer the question the next time I run into you.

I hear you on not moving in with your bf. I feel like we all went through that stage of rushing and thinking it was cool and grown up to live as a couple but now we've kind of figured out that the commitment level on that thing is thisclose to marriage, really not fun or glamourous and there's no rush anyway. Good luck finding a nice place! Looking for an apartment in this city is THE WORST.
