As I have said in other places, if there is anything the left hates more than truth, it is Dick Cheney. It is very pathetic. But, it is also funny. I guess if they want to spend all their energy and political capital on a man who has no political future, I will not complain too loudly, lest they discern their own folly.
The Oracle
There are two legitimate reactions to this story. 1)Is Whittington alright? He's okay. Good! 2)It's funny. The White House Press Corps throws a tantrum because they didn't get to break the story and lefty bloggers start ranting about this being emblematic of the Administration's incompetence. They would be thrilled to pick up a mustard seed and run with it.
Gee I can never understand the press. A. It was an accident. Plain and simple. Accidents happen. It appears the gentleman that was shot was in the worng place at the wrong time.
B. V.P. was on private property with friends. in the middle of no where. His first concerns as he showed was his friend's welfare.
C. The press is showing once again that they have ice water in their veins instead of blood. The compassion of the press can be sumed up as vampires on crank.
