Too many Mohammedians seem to fall into the trap of not knowing what their holy book says, making them, in the cold war verbage of the KGB, "useful idiots." Claiming martyrdom from an act of murder that makes a martyr of everyone they have killed because they weren't Moslem or weren't Shia or Sunni. Lying from the pulpit to incite and to promise, effectively, an indulgence for what is ultimately a mortal sin they will have to answer for...
In one sense, delightful irony for Bakri, in another, it is a test of principle for the "Christian" West and presents a no-win position for us. If we do the good Samaritan thing, we're pulling another viper from the fire that may bite us later, leave him and Al Jazerra adds a note of hypocrisy to their own that the "Crusaders" aren't faithful to Christ's principles. Forget their own condmenation of Christ and blasphemy that "God has no Son", htey have little problem presenting half truths. A half truth being a whole lie, we are left to understand that they are following the Prince of Lies.
All preacing aside, I'd say that we are missing the mark to not evacuate this mullah, publicizing his cowardice AND the fact that Tehran and Damascus, Hezbollah's puppet masters, consider him to be cannon fodder, else he'd comfortably be their guest.
I have to ask when the rest of the world will rcongize that this is all a puppet show driven by Iran to keep attention from their moves to build a nuke, akin to blowing up asprin factories and empty tents in Afghanistan to divert attention from DNA contributions on Monica's blue dress...

That's actually a good point that I hadn't thought of. As much as I would like to see him left in Beirut whimpering like a baby, it would be awfully hard to publicize his cowardice if he becomes a statistic.
If they make a complete spectacle of his rescue and publicize his begging for mercy to the world, maybe Islamofascism will be revealed for what it actually is.
The only problem I see is the media. I don't believe they'll do anything to project the actual truth. They'll either make a hero or a victim out of him and there will always be a segment of the population dumb enough to fall for it.
The article in the Sun said Bakri was trying to get onboard a rescue ship for women and children. I wonder if Bakri was wearing a burka!
Britain should take him back all right... Take him straight to jail.
I suppose one fantasy would be to slip a command detonated suicide vest on him and drop him off a Ameinjad's in Tehran and pickle two at once, preferreably on Al Jazerra live...
It just proves my theory, terrorists are really cowards. They won't face an army head on, they hide behind women and children, in mosques, and these so called sheiks/imams/ whatever preach hate and jihad, but want someone else to do the dirty work.
A suicide belt/bomb isn't a sign of courage to me. It's stupidity.
