Ha! I was laughing at Weir's costume too. One of the gayest EVER. But I did hear one of the announcers say that, because he was skating to Swan Lake, the red glove was symbolic of a swan's beak.
Whatever.

I always thought the pride of Peoria was either Richard Pryor or the Caterpillar plant. Some ice skater wouldn't make the cut any other time.

Yea, I heard that too, Peg...about the red glove. And, thought the same thing...'whatever'. It was still a goofy costume.
Andy, Cat may or may not be the pride of Peoria. It depends on who ya ask. As for Pryor...well...sadly, Peoria DIDN'T seem to take too much pride in him...alive OR dead.

My daughter is in colorguard and every year, they come up with the ugliest costumes that are custom designed. every time I say something about it, I get sighs from the other moms who cant or wont do anything about it either.
I can almost understand this at the middle school level, but these are pros! seems to me their costumes should be outstanding!
