Oh lady, I couldn't agree with you more!!! I'm now raising two of my g/kids because their mother wouldn't protect them from abusive boyfriends. This is the second time this has happened to the oldest, and the courts still want to place him back with his 'mother' (my daughter). Sad thing is, I saw this coming the second time, but had to wait until I had 'proof' (as in a 6 year old little boy full of bruises) before anything could be done. Then the 'boyfriend' gets a slap on the wrist from the courts, suspended sentence and probation. Whoppeee, that will stop him! Grrrrrr, now I'm on my soapbox!
