I stopped watching the Sopranos when we got rid of HBO (back in season 2).
How I would have ended it?
Big Pussy would have been wearing a bullet proof vest on that boat. After spending years in hiding, he finally emerges and whacks Tony. With a flamethrower.
I came back from vacation yesterday and found several Sopranos fans here at work ready to well, wack someone because of the same thing you wrote about.
Showing my true inner geek I felt the sameway about the last episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Enterprise.
I was hoping for a bit of a shock treatment. I was thinking Phil might try to kidnap one of the kids to force Tony out of hiding, but Carmela blows his head off with a 12 guage.
For more shock, since we never actually saw Adriana get offed, she sneaks up behing Tony and Kaboooom for putting a hit on her.
However, I was just happy to see AJ get laid (or it seemed implied) because I was just tired of that "woah, is me" BS.
