We do many of the very same things. In our case, it's good that our green choices are actually due to health or frugality (like using vinegar as a fabric softener/window cleaner/deodorizer) because otherwise I'd be too damn lazy to do them just for environmental reasons.

Being green is easy if you grew up the way we did (I, too, am a child of the 60's who parents yelled about turning off the light, etc). Unfortunately, common sense has never been too trendy, especially over on the east coast,,,ya know, towards the DC area and the ones who think they rule!

Me too I was raised the same way Pam. My daughter encouraged me even more to recycle. I just love freecycle.com too. I don't use the air either unless its so humid you can't breathe. It's my time to catch up on Cilco equalizer bill during the summer time. I'm pretty simple about lots of things.
