A Revolution is the Solution

omg, that's too funny. A program claiming to fix errors but itself causes an error.
The EULA states in section 3 that this program is self-repairing. That's by far the cause of the many troubles people have had with this. Luckily on my test system I simply reimage it to a clean state (much faster than a format and reinstall).

Wow, so that's what hell must be like (referring to 'this' screen). Lol, i just wanted to tell you that i totally like your style haha! It's kinda sarcastic n stuff, made me LMAO a few times lol. Keep up the good stuff! It's kind of...soothing to know that there are more ppl like me thinking exactly the same.
Well, i'll keep saying; i'm not doing this remover sh*t again. If this Aurora variant manages to infect my pc, i'll pull out the WAN on my modem and bid the Internet farewell. It's not worth all the sh*t i've been through.
I'll be looking forward to your next article, it's gonna be my fav. Cuz that's what Aurora is all about haha!

So, where do I go to get your "But on my next trip to Direct-Revenue land, I'll be illustrating just how hard removing this thing for an end-user can be."? I have this stupid Aurora and am getting sick of it!

HolyCr@p - I went to what appeared to be a legit website. I needed to allow an Active X control to run in order to download a beta version of an emulator and whammo! MS's Antispyware and firewall go bannanas. I ran removal via that application and a completely up to date Spybot S&D but everytime the system rebooted or INet explorer opened, I got hit with more warnings about system changes, more spyware found etc... It was as if this thing opened up a door for at least 7 other spywares, all of which related to ABetter Internet and Aurora.
I ran ABI's uninstall utility but had to leave before the reboot completed or I'd be late for work. I'll find out tonight how well their uninstallation works however, I doubt it will since companies like Computer Associates publishes extensive removal steps found here http://www3.ca.com/securityadvis...px?

I'll be sure to check back later tonight and let ya'll know how it goes but in the mean-time, I am looking forward to finding any sure way of getting the garbage off my computer.

PoconoPope, PLEASE email me the URL for the site that nailed you. Aurora install site info is amazingly thin on the ground. I'll write about it and everything

Looks like Auroura got nailed itself... check out the homepage at http://www.marketingmetrixgroup.com/ - someone appears to have got a LITTLE upset with them.
I'd say my heart goes out to them... but I'm laughing far too much.

It doesn't come WITH bitorrent. Its contained within files that you can download on the bittorrent networks.

Someone should file a lawsuit against Direct Revenue for this piece of crap spyware/adware. They are DIRECTLY violating the federal laws against adware that damages or renders a computer useless to it's users.
