Strangely, I still trust them about as far as I can throw them ...
Looking forward to see whether or not these changes make a difference (optimism is a long way off ...)

Is aurora and the dreaded nail.exe still part of the package? I had to deal with an infection for a friend about four days ago.

It's the name change game!
Nothing more...DR has a long road ahead of them to earn consumer trust. This doesn't really seem to be much of a first step.

jchor, you have to understand they are using the Adware Vednors Code of Logic manual, which reads, in section 52, paragraph 22:
"We know most people are stupid, cuz, if they were smart, we wouldn't have been able to slip our software onto their machines, so, a simple name change, and a promise that we will be good should increase our installs and give us great PR'.
Just don't ask me how I got that manual, or I'll have to kill ya. :P

Ya know...I was laughing at TeMerc's post...and then I realized just how sound that logic seems (hell look at the track record of a lot of these companies).
Now I'm not certain if I should be scared, cry, or try and get a copy of the book!

How do I get rid of this? It won't uninstall on my hard drive without SAVING a program from "Best Offers Network." My spyware programs don't detect it. Help!

Man these guys are pure evil genius... The users on my network keep installing their stuff and it makes my life a hell. The last time their software corrupted the anti-spyware on a VP's comp. Go to best offers website and read the uninstall to remove it. Nothing els works.
