Wow, from the name i take it youre from slashdot - quick check confirms it...thanks, but i cant help it if someone submitted one of my writeups to slashdot, can i? its a follow up post to something thats been going on for some time. on its own it certainly might not make a lot of sense. read some of the previous entries about 180 if youre not 100% sure whats going on - no need to flame.
Thanks for the article. I've seen this pop up on my wifes pc that runs windows xp and zone alarm. I myself run all Linux so it was helpful. Now I know what that popup is all about from ZA.

I'm sure that the point of the first comment was the fact that this writeup would have failed 4th grade English. The grammar was atrocious to the point that it had to be decoded rather than read.
I really think 180Solutions needs to be destroyed. Why doesn't ZoneAlarm offer this as an option in their program?

Funny, the only time anything like that gets said is when people hit the site from Slashdot. oh well. Interestingly enough, this post was going to link into something much more detailed, but then someone got it on slashdot and that was that.

I AM SPEECHLESS
As an end user I'd rather Zone Alarm be over-cautious. I realise this can be frustrating for producers of legitimate software, but there are a lot of malicious liars out there and I'd rather do whatever I have to to protect my system. And as I'm sure many have experienced there are far too many companies wantonly tampering with our systems in the name of so-called copy protection. Sony happens to be the latest. Macrovision is another. I for one am tired of software makers hacking my OS.
