Usually there is a rogue spyware program in the payload.
Ok, there must be atleast 1 million unique users. That rogue program in question is SpySheriff and asks for $40.
$40 * 1,000,000 people = $40,000,000 and you need 25,000,000 users to purchase it to make a billion.
I can retire early!

cuts through pretty much everything to some degree at present. there are some reports of the third party fix screwing stuff up like printing ability etc, so its still devil and deep blue sea time. i just dont see the point in us all running round with our heads on fire!

I hope MS thoroughly redesigns their OS in vista version rather than simply using old code. Windows could do with some serious security checking like OpenBSD or Debian . And before you go up in flames on linux advocacy, let me tell you, I too have to use a windows box at work. I am sure PG could help MS with that :D

lol, well it is pretty entertaining watching practically every post on this thing turn into yet another linux vs windows flame war thing. bottom line is, everyting sucks to some degree. but some thing are less suckier than others. however, that doesn't mean tomorrow what sucked a little less might not suck a little more.
Or something!

Lookout FF users, this is gonna be the year malware writers bust up the code to infect you guys on a regular basis. Last year we saw the tip of the iceberg, '06 should be interesting.
