iam starting to think this is a little like the buccaneers privateers and pirates 200 years ago they all did pretty much the same thing but some where allowed to get away with it

Like I said, because they can't. Their sysadmins are not paid to do this. They rely solely on the info provided by third parties, which they get for the low,low,low,low price of $0.

Saves money, and they can use it to beef up their image, too.

I'll give them another year before they realise their little scam here's no longer a secret... they don't seem bright enough to know that their pants are down.
