I have no idea what the bulk of the article says though you can run it through one or two online translators to get a rough idea. The clearest translation I got for a section was:
"....Christopher Boyd, who chases hackers and their technology online,
works across various sites and parses the Internet from a technical and
cultural angle".
....though of course, I could be horrendously wrong.

Kultur is a tabliod paper isn't it? All gossip and that.
The word kultur is Danish for "culture". The paper the page is from is called Politiken.

The story describes the thougts people had about what the EON8 site really was about and wut would happen when the counter stroke zero on July the 1.st. Also it tells a lot about how people felt the time before and after they found out what it really was about.- a harmless experiment prolly made by a webdesigner living somewhere at the american prarie.
This experiment prolly made people very angry and annoyed because they was denied informations about what the site really was about from the very beginning and didn't knew wut would happen.
You can maybe call it a cultural sociological experiment. It is what we would call it here.
By the way, the newspaper Politiken is not a tabloid newspaper. You can compare it a little with the UK newspaper Times.
