I loved this...Jeremy Clarkson thinks a little too much of himself, so its nice to see him brought down to Earth.

He should be glad that it was a nice person who did that - ie just donating some money to a UK charity, rather than direecting it to another account of some kind.

well he did ask for it didnt he fancy sticking your account number and sort code in a newspaper then tell everyone how to find out where you live,
and then to cap it all Dare someone to take money out of your account he was lucky it was only £500
