Aside from the fact you didnt actually ever call this a "hack" yourself (and last time i checked people interviewed aren't responsible for the titles given to articles by news orgs), he seems to be defining the precise thing that this code is being used for - using it in a way that it was not intended to be used, hence the reason why myspace are trying to fix it. or am i missing something somewhere?
Smells a bit like rampant jealousy to me. and youre right, he does sound too much "into" this - like he has a vested interest in myspace not closing the gate.
