A Revolution is the Solution

Gravatar sad, really sad. just as well tell em to ask for the backup and register with the same guys again under different details *sigh*

Gravatar What dazzles me here is that this particular company are extremely cooperative with regards takedowns. And then they do something like this....sigh.

Gravatar We can supply a backup of your nasty illegal and or annoying content so you can get it set up on another server within a matter of hours,

Nice going people 10 out of 10 for creative stupidity :-(

Gravatar I say we out them, so others can be told of their 'aiding and abetting', because that's just what they're doing, assisting in the continuance of illegal activity.

Don't black out the hosts name, publicize it.

There ought to be a black list of hosts who are known to either look the other way, be slow acting and all those things.

If they get enough bad press maybe a coupld of them will start to take notice.

Until we can get both webhosting comapnies and registrars to start being concerned, the bas guys will always be up and running in no time flat.

Hit 'em in the pocket and splash their names all over the place.

Scumbags.

Gravatar It's more than likely this was a templated email and the host obviously has to send a lot of them out!

hmmmm.....

maybe they should spend more time in their server logs and checking account activity rather than sending emails that are laughable!

Gravatar It was actually part of a support chat from their ticketing system. the whole thing is pretty hilarious, especially when he replied to them with "well that ain't all by me but whatever eat shit and die losers".

not the best thing to say to a webhost who you were screwing over but oh well.

Gravatar Personally I'm against outing them in this case because at least they're taking down the sites - better than nothing, and many of these kids can't be bothered going to the trouble of putting it all back together again so in some cases, all the forum backups in the world are useless - especially if they have to change the type of forum they're using.

i'm also wary of naming hosts except when absolutely neccessary because other bad people reading sites such as this then go report back to base with "such and such will give us backups if we get caught, lets go there!"

and i guarantee it wouldn't just be kids who can't do anything with backups going there for long at that point.

Gravatar @Jim:
I'm sure they don't need to wait for a message like that to run to rogue hosting companies, you know they all collaborate together and spread the word when they find things of this nature.

Consistent behavior needs to be exposed, as exposure is the only real weapon we have.....that and PG of course :P

Gravatar Its true. I am constantly exposing myself.

Gravatar if they don't know the difference between 'cease and desist' and 'cease on desist' (what the heck is that anyway?) then all hope is lost ...

Gravatar Which is why people in dodgy macs run a mile when they see Teabag heading there way lmao

Gravatar Off Topic
Hey PG i saw that newyork rat on a TV show it seems to be involved in some sort of protest ?
