Godzilla is totally a conservative song though -- nothing justifies a massive standing military and continuous high tech weapons development in the absence of an identifiable enemy power like a giant, radioactive lizard.

Yes, because "Heroes" takes place in Berlin and mentions the wall and how the commies aren't so nice. I think Nixon co-wrote. Or was that Eno?
You'd think BOC would be ineligible thanks to "Don't Fear the Reaper", their ode to either psychedelic drugs or suicide—possibly both. Then there's "Career of Evil", and "Burning For You" talks about giving the Devil his due.
