Well, at least he'll have a totally cool scar to show off. And we will pray for deft and skillful doctors and kind, pretty nurses.

Thanks Rox. And yes, it would appear that any future career as a hand model is out. LOL

I can hardly wait to see the Kaffe Fassett! My first ever full attempt at a Kaffe knit(20 colour Cubism 3-d effect sweater) ended up lying in a heap on the floor for 8 years or so until it magically morphed into my Curve of Pursuit. You're far smarter than me, though...
Kaffe rawks! Am waiting to see his new book (I'm on the hold list at the library). I've done one of his needlepoints http://brouhahaknits.blogspot.com/2007/03/
babys-first-needlepoint.html
I made some of his mosaics in past too- sadly, no pics as they were all sold on - his mosaic book with Joann Bahouth is really worth a look. Amazing stuff.

Holy crap. Can you sue the doctor for incompetence, Wannietta? That's what it sounds like to me. The purpose of the cast was to help the bone heal correctly, was it not?

Bummer about the bone not healing where it should. Will he have to wear another cast after the surgery???
I am afraid of Kaffe. All I can do is look and hold my cable needle like a security blanket.
