Very, very, nice. How long did it take you to knit that? I'm curious. How quickly you can make something that complicated?

Wannietta - that totally rocks and you certainly did it justice with your amazing skill.
There are a lot of charts with this one. Was is easy to follow once you got it set up?

Thanks Michelle!
Some of the charts are continuations of each other, so it's not like they're all new patterns. The lattice chart was easy to remember. The narrow panels became more intuitive but I stuck with the charts just to make sure. I had them all larger & on magnet boards in order of use across the sweater. Each chart had it's own magnet because there are different row repeats and I moved them up every row in addition to keeping track of the overall # of rows with a row counter. I used a music stand to hold the charts - it made it easier to see while I was knitting.
It wasn't so bad once the cables were set up and if I didn't think too hard about it! LOL And it can't have been too traumatic because I really want to make it again for me.

I just received this book today. That design took my breath away. Your knitting is just amazing!!
(I'm an absolute beginner, so obviously I ordered the wrong book for my skill level, but it's something to aspire to I guess. :P)

Why can't I get the first row? Seems that I end up with too many extra stitches on the first row. I have tried the smallest and next to smallest size. What am I doing wrong :--(
I swear I HAVE been knitting all my life.
