Gravatar Love the scarf! The colours just pop out, so much fun It looks like the jacket and scarf will make the perfect Fall pairing.

Gravatar Those colors are amazing! Thanks for the contest.

The jacket looks fabulous, and I love that scarf! Is there a pattern somewhere?

Gravatar Love the jacket and scarf!!!!!

Gravatar I love the scarf!! And I am sure the sweater will look wonderful on a real model!

Gravatar The scarf is the Inside-Outside scarf from Knit One Below. You can also get the pattern online: http://www.knittinguniverse.com/ ...DuvekotKOB.html

Gravatar The jacket came out beautiful!!

Gravatar You are so inspiring, you make me want to drop everything that I am knitting and make the same thing that you are making. Your scarf and jacket are gorgeous. the Jacket is my fav. color.

Gravatar I like the scarf pattern. I might have to try it too!

Gravatar I don't like blocking rib, either.

Gravatar I love the colour of the jacket, it is very nice.

Gravatar Now I wish I wuz going to camp this weekend! Purty yarn there, Wannietta!

Gravatar Have a great weekend at knitting camp. Every time I check your blog I remember many great evenings going back to guild meetings at Chapter's in Burlington. I miss the groups now that we have moved to Wiarton.
Your work is still beautiful and very motivating.

Gravatar Are you at the Creativ Festival this weekend? I'll be there too, but alas not taking any classes this time. Beautiful scarf!

Gravatar I remember looking at that Knitting Camp and seriously considering going for a few minutes. Have a great time!

Gravatar Sweater? - amazing. Scarf? - amazing. Yarn? - absolutely amazing.
Amazing Race? - well, you get the picture. Lance needs to lose. Badly. I felt for Zev and Jusstin - I wanted to see them hang around longer.

Gravatar I'm actually teaching up at Julie's - The Needle Emporium - Knitting Camp so after working all week and a full day of teaching I think that I'll totally be chilling on Sunday with a new project.

Thanks for the compliments on the scarf & jacket - I've got to give props to Julie for picking out the scarf colours - I can't wait to get into the purple one; it's way more my colour style!

Gravatar Oh Wannietta!

I can't decide whether I love your blog or hate it! I miss you and chatting with you, but am always so depressed about my own pitiful knitting skills when I see the amazing stuff that you see to churn out effortlessly. I am so jealous of the fun you have with those great colours ...

And that jacket is terrific.
Holly

Gravatar Wannietta - I'd been an avid knitter forever, with numerous projects always close at hand, but took a hiatus when diagnosed with breast cancer Sept 08. With family 2500 miles away, acting as patient advocate, nurse, housekeeper, head of household and patient left little time to knit. When I did, I felt anxiety instead of creative joy.

Today I celebrate my 1 yr anniversary of being cancer free - and maybe a good day to pick up my needles and celebrate.

I found Sweetspot on knitty.com this morning. What a stunning introduction to K1B knitting. I don't have any self-patterning yarn, but linked to your blog and found your gift of the Knotted Openwork Scarf pattern, which inspired me to pick up my needles.

Thank you for the inspiration that has motivated me to relax, enjoy my art of choice and 'knit on'.

Bless your creative heart,
Ruth, aka Aunt Rhodie

Gravatar What a wonderful anniversary to celebrate Ruth & I'm touched that you're inspired by me!! I hope that you'll share pictures of your FO's!

Gravatar don't you think that a yarn called Irish and someone named O'Neill just kind of go together?????

Gravatar Congrats on getting your pattern published! I know, I missed the deadline, but I had to congratulate you.
