Gravatar Poor baby! My yellow-striped tabby cat (named Stormy) was rescued by my daughter when he was about 5 weeks old and someone had set him out on the road behind her house. The next day, an 8" snowstorm hit. Had she not taken him in (and brought him to me), he would surely have perished. I had him for 4 years.

Ref. your comment: do you do that too? I thought I was the only one...LOL

Gravatar It's always seems to be that animals find their way to us with lots of luck and magic. Thank you for being there to save Stoney, and for your friend for opening her heart and home.

Gravatar Great story. Makes me think about maybe adopting a cat again, but my lease stipulates that I cannot own a pet. So I let it be.

Gravatar "Did I stop?" whoo-boy! I look about at all the one time strays and put outs in our yard and home and figure thats a good line for my tombstone.

Some things are just meant to be. Lucky Stony and family, Buster included of course.

Gravatar What a wonderful story. Bless you and Michele. Allergies are funny things. I have a son-in-law who is allergic to cats but they too had their hearts stollen by a homeless cat who now is a part of their family. Funny.. this particular cat does not bother him much in the way of allergic reactions. God must have a plan.

Gravatar It says, "read more" and I did but didn't need to. I know you too well...this is why I'm so happy you're my friend!
