My cats do this too, and it invariably ends in hissing and paw waving.

Ref. the Russian churches: I have no idea how they have fared. These photos postcards were bought in the late 80's or early 90's, and the churches appear to be in good condition, but one never knows. I sure hope that they are kept up the way they should be. They are too beautiful to be allowed to fall into ruin.

Miss Clover & Miss Chloe are so beautiful together. My two tabby brothers do exactly the same thing with grooming and then the next thing you know the fur flies! Then they will go back to grooming each other.
