Well- this is a grand post to come back to. I love me a pile 'o cats! I also love all the posturing and politics. Sophie and McCloud are only recently acquainted and, of course, pounds apart but for all of that they have become friends. I wish they would snuggle but the closest they get is playtime bopping. Otherwise McCloud waits until Sophie has snugged down in a corner for her nap and he sleeps as close to her as possible without being discovered.

I've mentioned before that I like the look of these maturing siamese of yours- the way they age and darken like fine cherry wood.

What a beautiful event! I have 5 cats, the first 3 have all been together since they've been born. So they tolerate and accept each other, play and frolic and basically love one another. The next addtion is a spunky little Manx who bosses everybody. Let we added the baby. She loves everyone,but she only wants to play. So the interaction is 'fun' to watch. My Abby is like your Willow. If I ever saw her up on the bed with the other 4 I would have to break out the camera too! They do have their hierarchy!

Wow! You know I see all the photos of the cats and other animals that you post, and I didn't realize that there were 6 cats. That's a lot of litter box changing!

There are seven with my mom's cat, Maggie but she has nothing to do with any of them. Rarely, she will condescend to be on the same bed with Nicky.

What a beautiful cat pile! Our cats also love to sleep right up against our pillows. Lyra prefers mine, Sergei likes Paul's, and Sasha just plops his big furry self down almost on top of whichever of them is around. Lyra sometimes has the same reaction to either of the boys that Chloe has to Willow, though the boys do sometimes pester her. There are complicated dynamics in our furry families, too.
