Max has such a sweet face. I once had a black cocker that Max reminds me of.

How lucky you are, to have such a beautiful fig tree! Here, in Illinois, the weather is too cold for a real, outdoor, fig tree. I grow mine in a huge pot that gets rolled into the garage for the winter. The size is restricted by the height of the garage door. We do get figs, which we enjoy immensely. I don't blame Max for loving the taste.

I love figs and haven't had them in ages. It's no wonder that is the object of his desire. He's sitting so nicely. Come on, mom...just one.
