I'd like to see my 75 lb. Winnie Girl helping out with chores in such a way - can you say, "Broken Ironing Board." I miss having my cats around.

Gravatar Oh, your Rhett is so graceful.
My Rhett tried that and dumped the whole thing and broke my good Rowenta iron in the process. They do so like to help, don't they..haha.

Gravatar My cats "iron" the clothes while they are still in the laundry basket.

RE your question: It was so long ago I honestly cannot remember. All I do know is that I got a letter telling me what the person's real problem was, and then my dream became clear as a bell, eerily so (to me, anyway).

Gravatar Oooh, they are so helpful...yes, the laundry basket calls my cats too. Everything is better with a layer of silvery wispy kitty fuzz.

You might think it would prompt me to more quickly fold and put away the wash, but they just look so comfortable! I should pull the basket closer to the wood stove for them; I am rude to not! They must choose between the cool but cushy clothes and the hard but very warm hearth.

Gravatar Oh, that is why I love cats! I cannot have pets where I live now (I rent my place), and sometimes I think it is a blessing in disguise, because a pet is a big responsibility, which I think I can no longer assume, because I want to be free to travel a lot. But I do miss having a cat around.

Gravatar Funny you post this...yesterday I got out the ironing board to do some quick ironing. RIGHT! With cats, I had 3 cats on the ironing board before I could turn around, and the other two were on the vanity watching me. Of course as I pressed out my tablecloth, I had one playing with the dangling end.

Gravatar (Big sigh...)
