I love the progression of these photos, Roxanne, the slow build-up, and all those intent kitty ears. Our three cats get along fairly well, but only once have I caught all of them watching birds together. (Perhaps a bird feeder would help!)

Great photos, love seeing how the numbers grow as the cats become more intent on what is going on outside their window.

When I woke up this morning one of my first thoughts was "Roxanne! Rhett! It's Friday's Ark!" But I three appointments before I could hop over. I LOVE it! That the birds have come and the cats have gathered- how cool is that? This is a wonderful post, each little chapter with photo. Thank you, thank you, thank you! (Progressive Dinner, anyone?)
I'm still struggling with a stand-in computer while mine is on the bench so photo play is particularly tough- but I think I might have a late entry for Friday's Ark...

Michele sent me back to you but I was coming anyway cause SWEETIE wanted to tell you something:
I Love my special closet that I go into. It's my "safe place" and the door bever gest shut completely cause I go there whenever the doorbell rings! I am a little scared of strangers, you know? So Closets are a good hiding place, aren't they? Puuurrrrr.

Oh, I love the photos, SRP. My cats love to look out the windows to our deck, where birds and squirrels cavort, never realizing that danger lies beyond the house walls.
Michele snet me this time.

Velvet and Arty also spend hours watching the birds. Blue tits and other little birds from the study or bedroom, and the larger magpies and crows from the front.
The cats 'chatter' very loudly, and get very excited.

Great pictures. Getting our three to sit together is a once-in-a-blue-moon sort of thing, so I can only imagine how tricky four must have been! Enjoyed reading your post.
