I can feel the internal twitching! I do this same thing - open the window nearest the feeders. It surely gives the housebound something to dream about.

Do Rhett and Chloe sometimes get so excited that they "chirp"? Sophie and McCloud do if they are just so intensely involved in the feeding activity on the other side of the window. It's funny little high sound deep in their throat.

Ping is our great hunter. He keeps watch over all great or small. He is also the one who will scare the bejesus out of all the other cats when he is defending his 'turf'. But he really is just a big old puddytat, even when he gets his tail all puffed out. I never worry about picking him up to soothe his worried furs.
