Gravatar He is adorable, truly. He has a puppy look about him, even at his advanced age.

Gravatar I thought that was a "puppy" picture of him. I think Max has the secret to a young life!

Gravatar Indeed he is cute. I'm so glad he lives at your house and gets spoiled by you. What a lucky little dog!

Gravatar I hope the coming reports of Max's heath are benign and that he and that little basketball play for many seasons to come.

Gravatar Max is a keeper-lovely canine !

Gravatar You know I love your Max and think he is so adorable. I hope he (you) continue managing his health for quite some time to come.

Gravatar Max is such a lucky fur baby to have you as his mom. He really does look like a puppy! Sending up a prayer that his health improves and all will be well.

Gravatar God love him (and you for taking such good care of him). This post and Max are very aptly named - he surely is the Crown Prince of Cute.

Gravatar Angel needs a haircut BADLY!

I ought to do one of those before-and-after posts of him all furry, and then sans locks.

I knew an old Cocker Spaniel that had dry eyes. His owners had to give him lubricating drops I think a few times every day. Do you need to do that for Max?

He is such a cute dog. And yes, he is deserving of the title, Crown Prince of Cute.

Gravatar He looks like a mere pup rather than a rescue hound plagued with health issues. He is terribly cute with that basketball. I'm not much of a dog person but I do love me some Max.

Gravatar I thought he was a puppy! He is so cute.

Gravatar He is so very very sweet. I frequently think of him when I visit here and often take a little moment to send off a wee prayer on his behalf.

Gravatar Like several people said above, at first I thought that was an old puppy picture of Max. He really looks like a playful puppy.

Gravatar His face makes me melt. The first dog I ever really knew well was Buffy, my aunt and uncle's dog. Whenever we made the 9-hour drive to Long Island to visit them, I'd spend the entire time playing with her. At the end of the day, she'd lie down beside my sleeping bag and sleep next to me. Ever since, I've had this thing for the breed.

How lucky he is to have a human mom who's so caring and compassionate. I wish him - and you, of course - health and love.
