Gravatar Nice portrait. Very nice.

Gravatar Yes, it is inevitable, isn't it. I'm so glad she has you to take care of her in her later years.

Gravatar hyperthyroid? very common in older cats, but if the vet tested...

Gravatar She has the most beautiful eyes.

My cat Storm is arthritic now and can't always jump when she wants to. She stands at the foot of the bed and waits to be picked up, while here sister Clipsie runs, jumps and twists like a young kitten! Who knows why they aren't the same, since they were litter mates.

Gravatar What a beautiful girl Clover is. Ah yes, old age comes to us all. I too, am on glucosamine and fish oil and I notice a great difference. I hope it lasts!

So Clover likes Fancy Feast, too? So do my two...especially the turkey casserole!

Hope all is well in your world.

Take care.

Gravatar I am so sorry to hear that Clover is not doing so well. My heart goes out to both you and her. Our dear furkids lives are much too short.

Gravatar Poor Clover. It's so difficult watching the aging process..and it seems you turn around one moment and suddenly, they have changed. It's difficult to see a pet growing older and slower, but how can you not give your heart to a beloved pet?

Gravatar The most beautiful eyes - sorry to hear not doing well but glad has you to be loved by.

Gravatar Clover is such a beauty. Those blue eyes are exquisite. It's hard to watch our four legged loved ones age.

Gravatar She looks so beautiful. My mum's cat Qwill is 16 and he went through a slow stage but now he's his usual active self again. Sounds like she's enjoying her retirement though

Gravatar I hope she is still OK I also have some troubles with my 15 yrs old Lisa. She yowls during the night and has to take antidepressive pills now. But she too still eats and purrs and even plays like a kitten. I just wonder if you will still participate in Cats on Tuesday, I am going through the blogroll ! Please let me know.

Gravatar Our cats getting to the same stage.

>We both take glucosamine/chondroitin supplements and it doesn't seem to help either of us!

lol. we both do too although I think it helps both of our creakinesses a bit.

Gravatar Bless her. She is still beautiful though. I have noticed my cat etting old too lately and I amd reading the day he has to leave me. I have had him 16 years which makes him between 18-20! Other than blood relations, it's the longest relationship I've ever had.

Gravatar Hi there,
No - it was not planned. Louie was taken care of a week too late I am afraid. We go out of town to celebrate my birthday every year so we won't be here - is that when you guys are coming to town? We may have to make other arrangements if we can, so we can see you. Let me know Hopefully all the puppies will be sold and in loving homes by that time.
Thanks!

Gravatar I think I'll allways remember the Blue Eyes.
Very special.

Gravatar Sweet Clover. It's funny really, the way cats age. That period between 15 and 20 is when they separate themselves out to either live a longer or shorter time. We've had cats that are elderly at 15 and other times, a few who have been spry into their twenties. But it sounds as though she is enjoying a soft life in the comfort of your room!

Gravatar Clover is a beauty.

I have to agree with Vicki about cat aging - my female cat (14) has settled quietly into senior citizenship, while my male cat (10) has had what seems to be a personality transplant in the last 2 years, what with the sudden desire to cuddle and just 'be' rather than tear round the apartment.

Gravatar Hello, Roxanne,
Just wondering how you are. I hope you're well. Miss seeing your posts.

Gravatar What a beautiful cat. I hope she's doing well since you posted this. I recommend that you try reiki (healing art) for her. Cats really respond well to it and it might ease her discomfort considerably. You can learn to do it pretty easily and reiki her yourself.
