The way you describe getting into pregnancy can actually be used for campaign against teenage pregnancy.. =)

Ow, a mousetrap on the alarm clock. My mousetrap has four legs and a tail...he's very effective, too. Except when he brings them inside and lets them go. If that happens, I'm a very good substitute!

I have 2 mousetraps; they are black with fur and 8 feet between them!
But I have had to use a few of those like you pictured over the last 6-7 years, and it isn't pleasant!

Great take on 'Spring' :0) I had to laugh about the bit with the poster. Almost definitely written by a man I should think adn I love that last quote. I think you would only ever make the mistake of pressing snooze once.LOL!
I was wondering if you had had time to pop by my blog yet? Hopefully it will be a nice surprise for you.

Great way to pop into spring...unless you're the one who gets caught in that spring.

Your post is great. I remember reading somewhere the hint about putting the mousetrap on top of the alarm clock to make sure that you get up.
i'm having trouble posting photos, and I have some really good ones. The photo appears, then it disappears, only to see a box with a red x in it. I did some cleaning out of my computer, and I don't know if I did something...maybe someone reading on here might have an idea.

You might not go back to sleep, it's true, but you're also not likely to go into work with a "sprung" mousetrap on your fingertips either. I think that idea is best left as a thought experiment, Roxanne.

Delightfully written post as always, kind of hard on men though. We don't do anything except sit and watch TV till you're done.
Notice where that trap was built? Who could build one better.

What a great idea for "SPRING"! And I loved your illustrative storyt about those scavenger rats...Lordy, how many of them were there? Or was it just one or two extremely hungry critters? (lol)....

I may have misunderstood this topic but if not, I think what James Herriot wrote also applies to not so cute animals (matter of opinion). I always used humane traps when I lived in the country.
cheers.
