Great nature photos! Mine is up too, and it's of an empty nest of a different sort...

Gravatar I love the birdbath...I would do lots of bird watching from my comfortable lawn chair very near! Thanks for visiting my blog today

Gravatar Beautiful pictures, as always. You have some lucky birds in your backyard (when everything is full)

Gravatar Oh that's a real lovely interpretation of "empty" !

Gravatar Great picks for "empty!" I love the picture of the little birdie! I always always enjoy the quotes you include with your photo hunt pictures.

Gravatar What is this empty nest of which you speak?!

Gravatar *lol* what a great post, i hope he got a drink and a feed

Gravatar What a clever idea - a series all relating! Our birdbath is quickly turning into a primordal soup - it's in for a good scrubbing tomorrow. I love the doves. We have some that keep nesting in the same place, too. I always leave them the spot or they take up residence in a living plant.
I love spring!!!
~~~Blessings~~~
Gravatar How beautiful! Yesterday, I heard the birds singing in my neighborhood for the first time this year.
Gravatar Great job on your photos for the theme. My birds are a little demanding here too!! I can't seem to keep the feeder filled to their liking.lol
Take care,
Connie
My photo is up.
Gravatar what wonderful pictures and I also love the rest of this blog!!
Gravatar I love the pictures especially the empty nest.
Gravatar WOW - what amazing photos!! I absolutely love the one of the bird.
Happy Saturday!
Gravatar What a clever idea! And what beautiful photos. Great introduction to Spring!
Gravatar Love your series of photos...I have an empty nest too. (in more ways than one!) Hope you are having a great weekend.
Gravatar I really like your quote to go along with the pictures!
We're emptynesters here too :~0
Have a great weekend and take care of those birds!
Gravatar WOW! WOW! WOW! These are some wonderful pictures and captions and story! How did you get such a wonderful closeup of the bird??? We have trouble with Starlings in our feeders too. I try to scare them away.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Gravatar I love nature photos, yours are wonderful, thank you very much for sharing them and narrating for the little bird! My photo is up for this week also. Happy Hunting!
Gravatar Those are lovely shots - your close up of the bird is great!
I love the calming colors on your blog - very pretty.
Gravatar I love this post in many ways. How lovely! But then, they always are...
Have a great weekend!
Gravatar My 'empty' is a nest, too, but I'm not sure if it's really empty
Happy Hunting!!
Gravatar great photos I like how you worked the theme with the photos...very artistic....
Happy Saturday and Happy Hunting
Gravatar What BEAUTIFUL photos! Thanks for visiting mine. Have a great Saturday!
Gravatar I have been experiencing Starling raids too! They are the Vikings of the bird world! I spend a fortune in bird food but I am rewarded with a variety of birds in my garden, and I welcome the starlings too
Gravatar Great pix. I especially like the birdbath shot.
Gravatar Lovely selection of photos for the theme! That bird is absolutely adorable. Great photos!
Gravatar A lovely series of pictures. Hope that lovely bird will be enticed to visit your bird bath and bird feeder soon. Hope she will eventually make great use of the nest.
Thanks for sharing.
Gravatar Nice sequence of events. I enjoyed it and it made me smile at the end.
Gravatar Very nice set of pictures!
Thanks for visiting!
Gravatar Great idea...just like my friend Lazy Daisy's idea!! Guess two minds think alike...Thanks for stopping by...Sandy
Gravatar Suddenly I understood the word EMPTY.
Thanks
Gravatar You reminded me to fill mine all up!
Gravatar Really beautiful pictures! The one that surprises me is the birdbath - we've had so much rain, ours is constantly full.
Thanks for visiting earlier
Gravatar Lovely photos. Let's hope they are full soon, only to be emptied again. Happy weekend.
Gravatar Hehe, this was great! And the bird-photo is just beautiful! I also loved the first quote - empty heads and hearts... I don't want to fall into that trap!
Thanks for visiting me
Gravatar Wonderful pictures for this weeks' theme! We got some more snow today so birds won't be nesting any time soon! Sigh!! Mine is up too
Gravatar Simply a lovely post. The last photo of the little bird was the perfect ending to the theme. What a photo! How'd you do that??
Gravatar You need to get ready for those birdies, SRP. They'll be back soon.
Gravatar Your photos are always so touching in their simplicity. Lovely stuff.
Mine is up now too.
Cheers!
Gravatar What Beautiful Pictures!
Thank you for sharing!
Gravatar Wonderful pictures! What a beautiful little bird- I love that one. I'm not certain what it is, either-I thought I knew most of them but I'm just not sure on this one. Maybe a warbler? Anyone?
Very nice, indeed- time to start your "life list" of birds, Roxanne. Your empty nest is lined with cat fur, yes?
Gravatar okay- I think you have an immature yellow rumped warbler there. If that bird was anywhere near my house I'd fill the feeders FAST. So sweet.
Gravatar Wonderful pictures!! I love the bird bath. To answer your question: I can't remember who's on the green beans, but Grover is on the peas
Gravatar Nice photo's the nest is a little sad though.
Gravatar Beautiful pictures and such a cute story to go with it!
Gravatar Those could have been photos from my backyard!! I was just thinking earlier today that I needed to fill the birdbath and the bird feeder...perhaps tomorrow....I haven't been over here in ages!! I used to read Dew on the Kudzu when I had my old blog The Whippoorwill Chronicles...but I lost everything when I too quickly hit the delete blog button!! thank you for stopping by and saying hello and helping me to re-connect!
Gravatar I see that I was not the only one to focus on an empty nest! I love birdbaths, too, but we already have a pond and a creek and not sure that birds would be attracted to a birdbath, as well. The eggs in my photo are mockingbird eggs. Aren't they beautiful? I believe that a mockingbird is moving back into the jasmine, but they appear to be building a new nest now rather than fixing up the old one. Thanks for visiting Pollywog Creek!
Gravatar Thanks for visitin' me! We both had birdies on the brain, huh?
DMM
Gravatar Beautiful photos! The one of the bird is awesome - I've never been able to capture them that close. Lovely choices for the hunt - they make me think of spring!
Gravatar Great photos. It wont be long before new nest are being built!
Gravatar Perfect photos for the theme!! You have a great eye!!
Gravatar Adorable photolog.
Love the birdie at the end.
Thanks for stopping by site.
Enjoy your weekend.
Gravatar Your bird-related photos are an interesting choice for today's theme. It sort of revolves around "empty nest" I guess -- which is my favourite photo, by the way.
Gravatar Poor birds, nowhere to drink.
Thanks for the visit.
Gravatar Great empty nest ideas. The bird photo was quite striking. Thank you for visiting mine.
Gravatar Great pictures!
Gravatar Great choice for the theme "EMPTY"!
