Gravatar what a great quote to begin with...i adore james herriot.

and poor miss scarlett! two full weeks! i can't even imagine, the poor dear. it must be so disorienting since cats depend so much on their whiskers for navigation! oh my.

she does look rather irritated in that 2nd pic...

i've been on thyroid meds for quite awhile...so my heart goes out to her, but in true cat fashion i'm sure she'll be quite a trouper (not that she'll turn down any extra attentions and ministrations, i'm sure!)

(((hugs, miss scarlett!)))

Gravatar Oh dear, poor Scarlett. I sure hope she recovers soon so that she can get that thing off her head!

Gravatar Poor Miss Scarlett. I am glad to hear that the surgery went well. She does look a little pitiful. I bet it does wonders for getting attention

BTW - if you haven't had time to pop by my blog (understandable with a poorly kitty) then you won an award. Congratulations.

Gravatar Poor Scarlett ... I'm glad she's doing OK, though. My old kitty didn't cope well with a collar on, either. It is kind of undignified, don't you think !!
Take care, Meow

Gravatar Poor Miss Scarlet. I'm glad to hear her surgery went well. She doesn't look very happy with the collar on.

Sending lots of healing purrs her way. Before long the stitches will be out and her tummy fur will grow back.

I hope she can enjoy the sunroom soon!

Gravatar Oh, poor Miss Scarlett. The kitties from germany wishes you all the best to get well soon !
This collar is so bad, but it will help you to heal the wound and grow back the fur. We know this from our castration
Lot of purrs !!!

Gravatar Awww poor kitty! It's not fun being sick! I wish her a speedy recovery and rid of that collar and nasty stitches soon.

Give her lots of love as I'm sure you will.

Thanks for visiting me Cats on Tuesday!

Gravatar The poor baby. She is lucky to have you taking care of her (with your medical knowledge!). You'll scratch her stitches, won't you?

Gravatar Poor thing I bet she is depressed. Cats have so much pride and if they think they look bad it does depress them. I bet she hates that collar. I'm really pulling for you Scarlet!

Gravatar Poor Scarlet! I hope the 2 weeks go by really fast!

Have a great Tuesday!

Gravatar Oh, Miss Scarlett, I hope you feel better soon.

I can't imagine being a sick child or animal who doesn't understand what all is going on. It's hard enough when you're an adult and at least know in your head what's happening.

Gravatar Ooh poor little Scarlett! It is the worst when pets and kids are sick because they are just so pathetic and they don't understand.

Gravatar Having had a tummy surgery recently myself, I can totally relate to poor Miss Scarlett and her itchy tummy (which is going to come soon). I am so very glad I didn't have to wear a collar too.

Tell Miss S that the scar is under her bikini line, lol! Hope this solves a bit more of her issues!

Gravatar Ah poor kitty.

Gravatar Poor Miss Scarlet. White Kitty had an e-collar once and can sympathize with Miss Scarlett's dillemas. Hope she feels better soon.

Gravatar Miss Scarlett
Miss Scarlett....we have been so worried about you. I know you don't quite understand what happened or why but I do hope you know your Mom did what was truly best for you. You are such a sweet little lady, I hope you can adapt to the dreaded collar.
By the way, I swear you are in a TV commerical. The cat is the spitting image of you in that new Beneful Life (I think that was the product) ad.

We will all keep you in our thoughts.
Purrs for Miss Scarlett.

Gravatar She looks so sweet, like an Elizabethan lady with a ruff. I'm sure she doesn't appreciate the elegance, but I know she'll be better soon.

Gravatar Poor baby - I know they hate those collars.

Gravatar Sweet Scarlett..we see that pretty tummy, and appreciate you posing for Tummy Tuesday
Hope you can get that collar off a few days before the V.E.T. estimated!

Gravatar Poor Pitiful Scarlett...we are all praying you are out of that collar soon and jumping again!

Gravatar Miss Scarlett is a brave and good kitty to tolerate the collar, and you are a wonderful person to be taking such good care of her. I wish her excellent healing and that the two weeks will go quickly for her and you.

Gravatar Oh Scarlett, I am so sorry you have to go through that. It actually pains me. But you have the best of care and best of all, you have all the love in the world. I'm looking forward to your recovery and getting that nasty collar off. I'll be thinking of you!

Gravatar Poor Miss Scarlet. I am so sorry to hear of her troubles. I am sending little kitty prayers her way.

Gravatar Oh our Vet says Kitty Cats should take care to lick their own wounds so they heal faster. We are very glad Miss Scarlet is feeling better. Purrs and Prayers for everyone
