I love those wrought-iron fences. The last house I lived in with my parents had one, and Daddy kept it black all the time (no rust).
I hope that you and Nyssa have a good trip and get her all settled in. Do you have to drive back to VA by yourself?

I, too, love wrought iron. We have a lot of houses with lovely lace work wrought iron decoration...mostly from a couple of centuries ago! They're heritage listed now and I glad, they are so beautiful.

How I love wrought iron! The black plus shape = perfect!
Great perspective on your shot!

Great photo. Seeing your photo reminds me of the wrought iron headboard that Don and I had made at a forge here after we got married. I'll have to post a photo of that. Ella had an interesting reaction to it.
I don't envy you your drive. Another step...

I love wrought iron. That's a gorgeous fence even with it's little spot. Have a wonderful trip. First apartments are so exciting. I lived in mine for 33 years before I left it. Guess it's not just a milestone for your daughter but for you too. May it be all joy.

You're helping to furnish her place and it's all green and that's great! Love this shot, so diffuse
